New Year's Eve On The Peninsula

2019 has been an eventful year on the Peninsula, but the fun hasn't stopped just yet! Venues around Redcliffe are getting ready to put on a show for the New Year. Here are the best places to celebrate 2019 and to be excited about the year to follow.


THE BELVEDERE HOTEL

With no specific event happening this year, the Belvedere will still have normal service where families can get together for a wine and dine. The Bel has a playground, games room and face-painters to keep the kids entertained, while the adults can chat over beer towers, cocktail balloons, and other ice-cold beverages on tap.


PILPEL

The recently-renovated Pilpel will be hosting an Arabian NYE party, where locals can join for a night of celebrations. The party will include a 3-hour drink package, a massive feast and belly dancers. Bookings are essential and tickets are limited, so be quick to secure a spot and celebrate the end of 2019 at Pilpel.


REDCLIFFE RSL

Party with Tommy Memphis and the Tremors this NYE at the Redcliffe RSL. Tommy Memphis is a well-known solo performer at the Redcliffe RSL, but will be joined by the Tremors to kick-start 2020. Bookings are essential and tickets are limited. The tickets include a $10 dinner voucher that can be used at the Gallipoli Grill or The Point.


MON KOMO HOTEL

Take a trip to the Caribbean this NYE with Mon Komo's Cuban themed 'Night in Cabana.' This special NYE event will include a 4.5-hour drink package, grazing stations and canapés, and prizes for best dressed. If you're looking for a luxurious way to end 2019, Mon Komo Hotel has got it all. Bookings are essential for the VIP exclusive garden experience.


SUTTONS BEACH PAVILION

Get ready to go back to the 70s this NYE with Suttons Beach Pavilion at the Bathers Bar. Get on your dancing shoes as the disco-era is coming to the Pavilion, with classic hits from some of your favourites. Bookings are essential and include a drink package, homemade nibbles, and prizes for best dressed and best dancers.

 
WHAT'S IN THE POT?

Celebrate with What's in the pot? at their New Year's Eve 2019 party. Enjoy traditional Italian cuisine with a special grazing platter table designed for all tastes, and a glass of Prosecco served upon arrival all for $60. Bookings are essential.

 
JUMPING GOATS BAR

Say goodbye to 2019 and hello to 2020 at Jumping Goats. Relive the music of your youth and come dressed as your favourite musician, as Steve McLoughlin performs classics spanning from the 60s to the 90s. Tickets are $19 and include a bubbles and nibbles from 7pm to 2pm.


REDCLIFFE LEAGUES CLUB

Celebrate the arrival of 2020 at Redcliffe's most scintillating New Year's Eve celebration. Sky Bar will throw open its doors for an end of year celebration like nothing seen on the Peninsula before. Masquerade and formal attire are a must at this glamorous night under the stars complete with an exclusive after party. This event is exclusive so book quickly so you don't miss out. THE SEBEL MARGATE BEACH

The Sebel will host an Island Adventure-themed rooftop New Year's Eve party under the stars. The party kicks off at 7pm and features a 2-hour beverage pack from 9-11pm, an Island food share table and a celebratory drink to ring in the new year. Tickets are $110 pp.

Or, celebrate New Year's Eve 'Hamptons style', at the Margate Beach House's event, Hamptons on the Beach. Starting at 7pm, enjoy 1-hour of free flowing French Champagne, canapés on arrival, followed by a 3-course dinner. Tickets $129 pp. Bookings essential.
