Laneway To Come To Life With Markets

The laneway and vacant shop near Soul Harvest Wholefoods Eatery in Margate will come to life on Saturday 11 May with creative souls showcasing their products in a market.

Vivienne Bryce from Soul Harvest Wholefoods said the markets they've previously held have been very popular. The markets we've held in the past were a wonderful way of becoming more involved in Margate and engaging with our local community,� Vivienne said.

It's a chance to showcase some amazing talents, meet other small business owners, mingle with the locals and even get some inspiration for ourselves and our store.

There will be stalls selling plants, homemade jewellery, essential oils, local art, homemade candles, pre-loved goods and much more.�

There will also be an all-day breakfast, lunch, treats, barista coffee, and a busker for entertainment.

Vivienne said they were keen to hold more events like this in the future.

It's important to us to promote Margate and encourage enthusiasm about our local area. We'd love to see more business opportunities open up around Baynes Street.�
