First Class Markets: With a wide range of unique stalls, drinks and tapas, the Something For Me Markets at Sunset Blue, Scarborough provides the ultimate VIP market experience for ladies seeking some uninterrupted ME time.

The indoor market, founded in October 2016 on Redcliffe’s foreshore, has been well received by women seeking more than coffee dates and who wish to shop without interruption.

Shoppers can enjoy a wine or cocktail from a private balcony, overlooking the endless view of the Harbour, Glasshouse Mountains and the Bay; While husbands tend to treat themselves to a beer at the Sunset Blue bar or head next door to the Moreton Bay Boat Club.

This five-star market experience is an inspiring local success story with founder Kirsty Saurin building the markets with no experience and the unwavering support of best friend Katrina Bray.

“After the birth of my son, William, I noticed that many women with young children were frustrated with being unable to attend markets without boring their husbands or having their curious toddlers getting up to mischief. They simply wanted somewhere to get together that wasn’t a coffee shop where they could have some time to re-energise,” said Kirsty.

“ My suggestion of a child-free market was well received, and although I had no idea what I was doing, there was overwhelming support from my family and friends.”

Kirsty is encouraging all ladies to come and enjoy the VIP treatment.

“There will be a range of stalls from beauty and fashion, to jewellery and homewares and many other unique businesses showcasing their exquisite products.”

Something For Me Markets will be celebrating their first birthday on Friday 20th October, from 6pm to 9pm at Sunset Blue, Scarborough. For more information visit www.somethingformemarkets.c... and treat yourself to a girls night out.
