SUTTONS BEACH PAVILION DESIGN COMPETITION UNVEILS EXPERT JURY - A STEP TOWARDS REDEFINING ICONIC SEASIDE HUB

City of Moreton Bay Mayor, Peter Flannery, has unveiled the jury for the Suttons Beach Pavilion architectural design competition. Comprising experts like Amy Degenhart, President of the Australian Institute of Architects (Queensland chapter), and Leah Lang, Queensland Government Architect, the jury will assess and shortlist architects for the next stage. Mayor Flannery said he was excited about revitalising Suttons Beach and expects a competition winner by mid-2024. The competition aims to transform the iconic destination, with jury members emphasising the project’s potential to bring new life to Redcliffe’s cherished seaside area. The initiative aligns with the long-term vision of City of Moreton Bay and encourages architects nationwide to contribute innovative ideas. The shortlist will be decided in February.
