Arts & Crafters Markets Look Merry and Bright
The Arts & Crafters Market Day has returned and is set to shine brighter than ever. The reinstated event will be Christmas-themed, providing shoppers with the ideal opportunity to browse handmade and affordable gifts from over 50 local artisans.

This gathering of local creatives has been a tradition since 2015, thanks to the Moreton Bay Arts Council, with the Old Redcliffe Fire Station serving as the ideal atmospheric venue.

Janice Charlish, president of the Moreton Bay Arts Council, said the day would highlight the collective talents of local artists and craftspeople and would be complemented by live music and performances.

Come spend a leisurely Saturday morning perusing stalls and meeting local handcrafters, Janice said. Linger on the lawn and enjoy the all-day music from Brisbane band SheBeen SheBang, who are back by popular demand.

Janice said there would be plenty to impress lovers of all things artisanal, including pottery, woodworking, mosaics, and textiles, as well as lovers of freshly-made food and beverages.

You can choose from Italian pastries, sandwiches, coffees, iced teas and homemade fudge. Plus, we've even got a sausage sizzle supporting Redcliffe Little Athletics, she said.

Art demonstrations will run all day in festive surroundings that are sure to inspire the spirit of giving.
