Get Shook All Night Long
Acca Dacca is bringing their latest AC/DC story to the stage at Redcliffe Entertainment Centre and is set to rock your socks off with part two of the theatrical rockumentary.

If you were lucky enough to catch their first instalment and are a diehard AC/DC fan, you need to experience part 2 also. As Jesse Attard ' who plays Angus ' said, it is a completely different show.

It's a two-and-a-half-hour theatre production that is narrated and starts from the 70s all the way to present day, Jesse said. We have a big screen behind the band that'll show photos and video footage. Then the band plays between parts of the story being told, and we try to keep it as theatrical as we can with cannons and the bells.

Acca Dacca has been established for about 20 years and Jesse's dad Larry, the lead singer, used to play with AC/DC back when he was in a band called Snake. AC/DC have seen the show a few times and endorse Acca Dacca's tribute show.

The hardcore fans will tell you what they think so you have to get it right, Jesse said. I like to think we do. We try to do the best we can to make it as authentic and enjoyable for fans as it possibly can be.

It's a hell of a lot of fun, and I try to put on the show that I like to think Angus would approve of.

Jesse said that initially the band did tribute gigs at pubs and RSLs and they wanted to create something unique and move into the theatre scene with something no-one had ever seen before.

It's a fresh new take on the tribute scene and it's been getting some really good reviews, Jesse said. Any AC/DC fan should do themselves a favour and come and enjoy the show. The reviews we've had from it have always focused on how different this is ' it's not just another pub tribute act, it's an experience.
