Motion in the Ocean
You may be familiar with the rocky beauty of the coastline that stretches from Woody Point to Suttons Beach, but this month, you will have the chance to view it from a distinctly different vantage point ' the sea.

Cliff to Club Ocean Swim, hosted by Grimsey's Adult Swimfit, to be held on Saturday, 28 March, is expected to attract around 600 entrants this year, the second time for the annual event.

Grimsey's Adult Swimfit director, Ridge Grimsey, said last year's event attracted local, interstate, and international participants, and many ages and abilities were represented.

We have a massive range of competitors, he said.

Our youngest competitor last year was eight, and our oldest was 72.

Ridge said the iconic feature event on the day was the 2.5km ocean swim, from Scotts Point to Suttons Beach. There will also be a 1km and a 500m swim. First, second, and third place winners will receive a prize, and random prize draws will feature on the day.

Redcliffe Surf Club will be catering for hungry swimmers, with a barbecue, and coffee trucks will be on site.
