Belvedere Hotel Relaunch
Woody Point's iconic Belvedere Hotel will cast a new, modern shadow over Bramble Bay this month, with the completion of a multimillion dollar renovation.

Marketing, entertainment and special events manager Lisa Casablanca says following previous refurbishments back in 2006, the decision was made to renovate the Hotel with a fresh, modern feel.

The old Steak & Crabhouse Restaurant is totally being renovated with a fresh new atrium look, using the fresh colours of white, green and black with the lushness of greenery, she says.

It will not look like it used to with the bar moving down the very front of the Restaurant near the entry, and windows knocked out in our old Sunset Lounge to make way for bi-fold doors, so this room will easily flow into the layout of the new Restaurant.

Lisa says the newly renovated restaurant will offer a lot more casual, scenic dining for patrons.

You can kick back for the afternoon and listen to live entertainment, enjoy a beverage or two and indulge in some share plates while watching the sun set over Bramble Bay, she says.

We will also have on offer a brand new boardroom that will seat 20 guests, which can be booked out for private dinners, seminars and workshops.

A brand new courtesy bus will do pickups and drop offs all around the Peninsula.

In its 115th year, the historic hotel is one of the oldest hotels in the Moreton Bay Region and a much loved venue.

With such a proud history, the hotel is a local favourite and the owners have ensured it has retained much of its original charm.

Lisa says the feedback from the community has been very positive.

A lot of people are excited for the change, however, we have made sure we don't lose the original look of the hotel in the original building as some patrons were concerned we would, she says.

Our old Jetty Bar will have a nostalgic feel about it, furnished with many old photos and decor of history gone by.

We believe it is important for the community to support such an iconic establishment that has been around for so many years and in return, we give back by supporting many groups.
