80's & 90's Flashback Dance Party

It's time to dust off your old school pants and get ready to party like you're back in the 80s and 90s. Don't worry about trying to track down a time machine though, just head to Redcliffe Leagues Club for a special tribute show to RnB and groove music from this era instead.

Redcliffe League's Club digital marketing coordinator, Daniel Kelly, said he expects anyone who loves old school hip hop and RnB to love this show.

Shows like this are always good at bringing together the people who were there when this music was made. And the kids who grew up listening to this music together with their parents too,� Daniel said.

The energetic show will feature a live band experience with the Groove Masters, international vocalist, Justin Stephenson, and renowned Australian and New Zealand artist, Melaanie.

Melaanie, one of the lead performers, plays at our venue regularly. She always brings a crowd and these specialty shows of hers are always a hit. You can tell a lot of effort goes into each one,� Daniel said.

Let yourself relive the 80s and 90s' RnB and groove scene as well as giving yourself an opportunity to recreate some of your favourite old-school dance moves. The entertainment will extend beyond the music though, with costumes, hip hop dancers and quality lighting and sound production completing the night.

The sound, costumes and dance moves are amazing,� Daniel said.

Expected to be a popular event, the old school dance party was inspired by other similar events around Australia.

Events like RnB Fridays have exploded across the country. People love this music and we want to cater towards them,� he said.
