Showcasing the region's top wineries and food producers in one picturesque waterside location, the Moreton Bay Food + Wine Festival is a winning formula.
Following the success of the inaugural event last year, the festival returns to the Peninsula on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 September.
Moreton Bay Region Industry & Tourism chairman, Shane Newcombe, said the free festival precinct would wind its way down Redcliffe Parade offering foodies a feast for the eyes and senses.
This is a showcase of our region's finest fresh produce and artisanal products, curated by some of our top chefs, brewers and winemakers against the backdrop of stunning Moreton Bay, he said.
There'll be an abundance of workshops and cooking classes for those who want to get hands-on.
Visitors will also be able to discover the magic of our foreshore restaurants, who have created special menus for the weekend and will also be hosting ticketed events.
Moreton Bay Region mayor, Allan Sutherland, said that two of the country's most popular cooking personalities were joining the line-up this year.
I'm thrilled that Matt Sinclair and Alastair McLeod will be sharing some of their favourite recipes on the USC Seafood Cooking Stage, he said.
Another major drawcard is the free entry to the festival precinct, all weekend, with so much to see and do.
Just some of the free highlights include the local tastes pavilion, the seafood cooking stage, the Kindred Beach Teepee Bar & Stage, Mon Komo Hotel's Cuban-inspired pop-up bar, and the Seafood + Wine Deck.
Head along to Charlish Park for Craft Brews by the Bay, where you can try to everything from pale ales to stouts, while enjoying a bite from a selection of food trucks.
Sweet tooth's will be catered for with a pop-up dessert festival promising sweet, deep-fried, creamy and frozen treats.
Family-friendly activities include Sesame Lane's pizza-making workshops and giant connect 4 games along Redcliffe Parade.
The festival also features paid workshops and events at various local venues.
