A Corvette Collective

The rumble of the finely-tuned engine of a sleek and beautiful motor vehicle is a pleasure that many Australians enjoy, and members of the 'Corvettes Down-Under Car Club' are no exception!

Jan Earney is secretary of the club, which is celebrating the 20th anniversary of their Annual Corvette Classic at Pelican Park in Clontarf from 9am on Sunday 28 July.

For the last 20 years we've held this show. We have it as a show-and-shine event so the Corvette owners can display their cars,� Jan said.

There are trophies awarded, but many just like to show their cars and give people the chance to look at them, sit in them and see how they've changed over the years.

This is one of the largest events of its kind in Australia! We usually have somewhere between 80 and 100 Corvettes on show.�

The event is free to enter and will feature entertainment for kids, food stalls and much more, with money raised going to the drought relief for farmers.
