Release Your Inner Artist at the Craft and Gift Fair
If you're passionate about arts and crafts, then the annual Quota Craft and Gift Fair is the perfect place to bring out the artist within you.

The fair will held at the Redcliffe Showgrounds on Saturday 6 July. Not only will it allow the community to explore many hand-crafted goods, but also help support local organisations and charities.

President of Quota International of Redcliffe, Kay Smallhorne, said the Redcliffe community could expect an array of stalls including crafts like quilts, jewellery and pottery. Another particular highlight is a delicious afternoon tea provided by the canteen staff at Quota International.

As always, a great mixture of handmade crafts from 30 stallholders will be on show, and Webb Hall in the Redcliffe Showgrounds is undercover so everyone attending will be comfortable and warm, Kay said.

Kay said the event would help the Quota club to achieve its mission to support charitable organisations and the local community.

We enjoy being able to help the many and varied worthwhile causes that need the financial input that our fundraising is aimed at, Kay said.

As every year, the Craft and Gift Fair will give back to the local community through funds raised by a major raffle. There will also be a lucky door prize drawn at 2.30pm on the day.

Kay said support from other local organisations, including ongoing support from the Bendigo Bank in Margate, allowed the event to go from strength to strength each year.

Henzell Street Quilters very kindly supported us again this year by donating a beautiful Queen Size handmade quilt, which is a valued prize in our major raffle, Kay said.

Some of the stallholders provide raffle prizes on the day of the fair, which is appreciated.

Crafters from Moreton Bay are prioritised , allthough all stallholders with expressions of interest are welcomed. For more information about the event or to become a stallholder contact Beris on ph. 3050 1421.

There is a $5 entry fee for adults, and children are free.
