Baby Shark Swims Into Moreton Bay
Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water… Baby Shark swims into town! The worldwide phenomenon is coming to our shores as part of a live stage show for Redcliffe KiteFest on June 15 and 16.

Mayor Allan Sutherland makes no apologies for getting the lyrics stuck in your head.

“This is a massive coup for our region, in fact Redcliffe KiteFest will be one of the very first places in Australia where you’ll be able to catch this show,” he said.

“The little ones will love the opportunity to dance and sing along to the stage show ‘Finding Baby Shark’, starring the world-famous BABY SHARK, at two shows twice daily on the Kindred main stage.”

South Korean children’s educational entertainment brand, Pinkfong, originally released the song in 2016. Racking up an impressive 2.6 billion views on YouTube, the catchy tune and dance reached worldwide viral status in 2018.

Although the earworm drives some parents crazy, the interactive pantomime performance is sure to be one of the highlights of Redcliffe KiteFest for the young and young at heart.
