Laugh Out Loud
The Redcliffe Cultural Centre will play host to an epic line-up of comedians from this year's Sydney Comedy Festival on Thursday, 23 August.

Expertly curated and lovingly presented, the showcase is a fantastic opportunity to see some of the hottest comedy acts live on stage for two hours of hard-hitting laughter.

Hugh Inglis, one of the producers of the Sydney Comedy Festival, is excited to present a range of comedians to the Peninsula.

The show is made up of a bunch of the best and brightest acts around, showcasing a wide range of styles and talents. Audiences can expect to see some old favourites, as well as see some of the best new talent, Hugh said.

The line-up features Sydney-based comedian Aaron Chen, winner of the Best Newcomer Award at both the Sydney Comedy Festival and Melbourne International Comedy Festival in 2017.

Aaron is looking forward to his experiences with the audience as he hones his skills for future international competitions.

I love the rush of performance and winning. I do it for the fans and for the country.

I'm currently looking to transfer to America to perform[but] my time in Australia will be [spent] gaining chemistry with Australian audiences and comedians.

Joining Aaron is America's Mike Goldstein, a regular on the Australian comedy circuit. Mike has extensive experience performing all over the world, having performed with comedy heavyweights Stephen Merchant and Tommy Tiernan when they toured Australia.

Hugh sees the Showcase as fantastic value for anyone who enjoys live comedy, or just enjoys a night out with a few laughs.

With such a wide cast of Australian and international funny folk all on the one stage, there is guaranteed to be something for everyone.
