Redcliffe Garden & Lifestyle Expo
SPRING HAS ALMOST SPRUNG What better way to welcome the South East’s prettiest season than with Redcliffe’s inaugural Redcliffe Garden & Lifestyle Expo.

Held at the Redcliffe Botanic Gardens on August 5, the event will be a celebration of all things garden, plants and lifestyle, and will feature industry experts as well as a variety of presentations and demonstrations across multiple stages.

Moreton Bay Region Industry and Tourism CEO Shane Newcombe says the event is shaping up well and they have seen significant interest in the event already.

“The event is designed to inspire, educate and motivate the region’s ‘green’ lovers and we are excited to see all of the plans come together,” he says.

“ The focus is on gardening, sustainability, landscaping and lifestyle, which is pretty unique.”

One of the highlights of the day will be the speaker line-up, which includes television personality Jason Hodges from Channel Seven’s Better Home and Gardens, as well as local gardening gurus from the region.

“We have gathered the best of the best to present on stage providing our event goers with the best advice for their homes,” Mr Newcombe says. “We are particularly keen to hear all the garden and lifestyle gurus speak on stage,” he says.

Mr Newcombe says the Expo will be beneficial for the local community as it brings diversity to the events in the region.

“It’s definitely an event different from all others on our events calendar,” he says.

“Seeing the local community come together where there is a shared passion and interest in gardens, landscaping and lifestyle will be a highlight.

“Expect to walk away from Redcliffe Garden & Lifestyle Expo with a new found confidence and genuine excitement to get outdoors into your garden.”

The Expo also caters for all ages, as well as for everyone from novice gardeners to gurus alike. Younger visitors will enjoy the dedicated children’s area, the Village Motors Little Grubs Kids Zone filled with garden focused crafts and activities, free face painting and garden games.
