Seaside Eats The Right Recipe For Locals
Seafood Town? More like Seafood City, thanks to a renovation that has expanded the space and offerings at the popular Woody Point seafood eatery.

Seafood Town Café owner Gary Dutton says the time was right to take stock of the business and widen their offering for their loyal customers and the visitors heading to the Peninsula.

This isn't the first time we have expanded the business since opening six years ago, he says.

Last year we decided to expand the café further and take over the bakery shop next door. We just felt that we needed more space and wanted to make the café more user-friendly.

The renovation means owners Gary and Vanessa can now seat up to 100 people in the restaurant, creating a more relaxed and spacious atmosphere.

We feel it's important to our business to keep moving forward and keep things fresh and exciting for the customers, Gary says.

Our business has been steadily growing since we opened and we have made the Seafood Town Café a fun and exciting destination at Woody Point.

Our customers like the extra seating room, the full wall graphic of the harbour in Vancouver, and also the extra serving area.

Gary says the café has become a meeting place for people from the local community and that the changes have been embraced by their customers.

Our staff and our personal input in the business make Seafood Town Café special combined with a great position on Woody Point's waterfront, he says.

Seafood Town Café has become a regular destination for retirement homes, community buses and clubs not only from the Peninsula but from all over Brisbane.

We also support some very worthy causes within our community. Seafood Town Café has been a place for wedding proposals, wakes and some really good customer get-togethers.

It is a place where you are greeted with a smile, fussed over and thanked for taking the time to visit with us.
