The many paths to wellbeing all lead to Redcliffe this month for the annual Heal Yourself Expo, which brings together a community of practitioners, speakers and teachers with a shared passion of supporting and educating the local community.
Organised by the You Can Heal Yourself Foundation, the two-day event will highlight many aspects of physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health.
Foundation chairman and event founder Wayne Pina-Roozemond says the Heal Yourself Expo is designed to educate, inform and empower people in their own journeys in health, wellbeing and spirituality.
I believe an event like this is necessary, as people need to find a way that helps them heal and take control of their lives and healing journey, he says.
The concept has always been a difficult one to get past a lot of people, but the expo is all about educating people to make the right choices for themselves, not the person next to them, sisters, aunts, uncles, parents or friends, he says.
It's about assisting people so they can heal naturally and make the choices that suit them - it is all about integrity.
Held at Hercules Road State School, the expo will feature a variety of activities, stalls and speakers, with something on offer for all ages.
We have secured some amazing guest speakers for the expo, including best selling author Katrena Friel and wealth coach Jeremy Britton, Wayne says.
There is also something for our younger visitors, with a dedicated Kidz Zone for children to learn, with the main expo being for others interested in taking control of their health journey.
Now in its 10th year, and the second on the Peninsula, the expo is expected to be bigger and better than ever.
The event is shaping up very well so far a lot of the hard work was done last year, so many people know who we are, so we are expecting a huge turnout with a lot of return visitors, Wayne says.
