CREEPY KOOKY CAST to take centre stage
They're creepy and they're kooky, mysterious and spooky, they're altogether ooky, and they're about to hit the stage on the Peninsula.

The world's darkest family comes to the Bayside this November, with the kooky musical comedy production of The Addams Family.

Artistic Director and President of Redcliffe Musical Theatre Madeleine Johns says the production will be quirky, clever and exceptionally funny.

There's something for everyone in this quirky, high-energy, fun-filled musical - singing, dancing, acting, comedy and a really wonderful heartfelt story all wrapped into one, she says.

It's a show about family ' a very weird family, but family nonetheless.

Madeleine says the musical is brand new to the Moreton Bay region, after opening in Sydney in 2012.

First created by American cartoonist Charles Addams, The Addams Family was developed into a television series in the 1960s and has since inspired films, books, videos and now a musical.

Madeleine says the rehearsals have been going spectacularly well and there is a lot of interest in the production.

We have an amazing cast of 20 extremely talented locals led by Reagan Warner playing Gomez Addams and Georgia Murray (alternating with Meredith Johns) as Morticia Addams, she says.

It also features Sophie Price as Wednesday Addams and Seb Witt as Pugsley Addams.

Madeleine is one of the founding members of Redcliffe Musical Theatre and is passionate about first-class local theatre.

Audiences can expect to have a great night out at the theatre and they don't need to travel to QPAC to do it, she says.

The goal of Redcliffe Musical Theatre is to provide high quality theatre to local audiences at an affordable price.

Come along and support a local theatre company performing in a local venue ' the newly created Theatre 102, right in the heart of the Peninsula.

We are here to provide entertainment for our local audiences, so make sure you see The Addams Family and see what local can do.
