Scarborough Sounds
Jam out with dad by the Scarborough seaside to a program

of world-class music from outstanding musicians.

Spread out a blanket and savour some gourmet food or grab a drink from the bar before roaming through the handmade markets and warming up by the giant bonfire.

Special Guest Taleena Peck

(between sets)

A young musician with an alternative edge that stretches from folk to indie, pop and country pop, Taleena Peck has performed at numerous festivals and venues around Australia and captivated audiences at every show.

4.00PM Mark Lowndes

Having shared the stage with Michael Franti and support from the likes of Boys to Men and Brian McKnight, Mark's musical fingerprint leaves audiences uplifted and demanding an encore. His songs about stories of purpose and dreams are woven intricately with catchy melodies and hooks.

4.30PM (Bonfire Beatz) Dan Horne

With music built on blues and roots with folk undertones, lap steel guitar techniques from India, Hawaii and the deep-south, and Americana folk melodies and chord progressions, multi-instrumentalist Dan Horne strings together a most-memorable cultural sound.

5.00PM Breanna Fielding Trio

One of those rare talents that must be seen more than a few times to appreciate fully, Breanna Fielding Trio brings powerhouse vocals and an eclectic music foray in the foot-tapping range of soul and R'n'B and everything between to the Scarborough Sounds stage.

6.00PM The Steele Syndicate

The Brisbane-based octet's eclectic, genre-bending sound reimagines old school funk, reggae, ska and indie rock. With rich harmonies and a four-piece horn section, The Steele Syndicate's infectious grooves deliver an energised sound that packs an emotional punch.

7.00PM A French Butler Called Smith

These guys have one goal to get you dancing and they will use any weapon in their artillery of musical genres to do it, whether it's funk, Latin, gipsy or anything in-between.
