Peninsula Christmas Carols

The best way to spread Christmas cheer is to sing loud for all to hear, and with the Redcliffe Peninsula Christmas Carols, you and your family can do just that.
The event is three hours in duration, taking place in the first week of December and organised by What’s On Moreton Bay, under the umbrella of Moreton Bay Region Industry and Tourism (MBRIT).
According to Natassia Wheeler, MBRIT CEO, the carols present a great opportunity to bring the community together, fostering a sense of unity and joy.
“This is while promoting a shared cultural experience and creating a festive atmosphere that captures the spirit of the holiday season,” Ms Wheeler said.
Highlights of the celebrations include a visit from Santa, kid’s themed activities, markets, food trucks, and, of course, the fabulous fireworks finale.
Ms Wheeler said an added benefit was the opportunity for local community groups to showcase their offerings to the wider community.
She added that overall, the carols were “the perfect environment to celebrate another big year in our city.”
At the Christmas Carols, you can treat the family to a delicious meal from one of the food trucks and make sure you get your photo taken with Santa.
The Redcliffe Christmas Carols are one of four signature Christmas Carol events happening across Moreton Bay in December 2023, with the Caboolture Christmas Carols, North Lakes Christmas Carols, and Pine Rivers Christmas Carols also taking place in their respective locales.
Attendees are encouraged to bring a picnic blanket and enjoy free entry at Nathan Road Sportsground — a well-accommodated precinct featuring a full-size AFL field with lighting, a clubhouse, and change room facilities, as well as a playground and parkland.
“Everyone has a great time at the Redcliffe Christmas Carols,” Ms Wheeler said. “It’s a joyous event that offers an array of exciting activities for everyone.”
