The Moreton Bay Food and Wine Festival is back!
Pop the champagne and start peeling those prawns because Moreton Bay Food + Wine Festival is back, and they are on a crusade to make this year bigger and better.

Set along the picturesque waterfront at Woody Point, the three day festival will showcase some of the region’s best produce. Visitors will have the opportunity to soak up the sea air as they explore cooking demonstrations, food stalls, pop-up bars, listen to live music and sample some of the freshest seafood around.

Boasting one of South East Queensland’s biggest line-up of celebrity chefs, festival goers can expect to see the likes of Miguel Maestre, Manu Feildel, Adriano Zumbo and Dominique Rizzo, just to name a few. There will also be live entertainment including local bands and DJs who will be performing across five stages.

The event is organised and delivered by Moreton Bay Region Industry & Tourism, in partnership with Strategic Partner Moreton Bay Regional Council and supported by Tourism & Events Queensland.

Moreton Bay Region Industry & Tourism CEO, Shane Newcombe, said the festival has something for everyone.

“Enjoy the winter sunshine as you make your way through the festival precinct and discover all the magic the festival has to offer,” Shane said.

“Meet a passionate local producer, enjoy some Moreton Bay seafood or catch a cooking demonstration by one of Australia’s biggest household names or, do it all!”

As if the event wasn’t mighty enough, visitors to the festival can enjoy spectacular fireworks over the pristine waters of Bramble Bay.

The Moreton Bay Food + Wine Festival is the signature event of Tastes of Moreton Bay FEASTival which kicks off on 19 August. The six-week program celebrates local farmers and their world-class produce. It will include events such as the Samford Harvest and the Bribie Seafood Boil hosted by celebrity chef and Festival Ambassador, Alastair McLeod. Originally from Samford himself, Alastair has always been passionate about promoting and celebrating local producers from around Moreton Bay.

We’ll drink to that!
