Sign Up To Play At Tigers Open Day

The Tigers are set for another great season of Aussie Rules footy and are inviting registrations at this month's open day.

Redcliffe Tigers AFC president Gayle Wetzel Fitzgerald said the club welcomed the community to the annual open day on Saturday, 27 November.

This is an opportunity for returning and new members to see what the club has planned for 2022, meet the coaches and volunteers and enjoy the community of the Redcliffe Tigers,� she said.

Registrations will be open for boys and girls junior teams (aged 6 to 11), boys and girls youth teams (ages 12 to 17), Colts (under 18), senior women and men, and masters.

Due to growing numbers in 2021, the Tigers will be fielding even more teams this season.

As a result of the strong growth in the female programs and the senior women qualifying for finals, the AFLQ have granted the Tigers a second senior women's team license for the 2022 season,� Gayle said.

The focus for this season is the continued growth of AFL on the Peninsula while ensuring players of all ages and skill levels have the opportunity to play footy at the highest level possible, while maintaining the family and community environment the Redcliffe Tigers are proud of.�
