Food & Wine Festival Is Back
Foodies rejoice. Your taste buds are going to be tantalised over three days at the Moreton Bay Food and Wine Festival. Enjoy the wonders of Moreton Bay's renowned local produce and celebrate with a drink, tasty bites, and some celebrity chefs in the brand-new location at Apex Park, Woody Point.

This year's event is set to be huge, with every Festival Precinct ticket including cooking demonstrations by the best in the business ' Matt Golinski, Dominique Rizzo, and Alastair McLeod.

The festival will also have pop-up bars and live music, and a new Home, Garden and Lifestyle pavilion will be on show with gardening guru Costa Georgiadis sharing his expert gardening skills and passion for sustainability on Sunday.

To get the festival started, Friday night is the Festival Launch Party with band Funk'n'Stuff and DJ sets to set the party tone. Traders in Purple are hosting the event to prep for the tasty days to follow with roving performers, stage entertainment, food vendors and of course, beverages.

Moreton Bay Region Industry and Tourism CEO Shane Newcombe said he was grateful to be bringing this event back after COVID-19 forced them to cancel last year's plans.

We're proud to present such a well-loved event for locals and visitors, Shane said. If the previous festival's success is anything to go off, combined with the fact that everyone is itching to get out and enjoy our beautiful region, we are expecting huge crowds this year.

There's something to satisfy everyone's palate. Whether you catch a ride with your girl gang, are an avid foodie, need a fun date idea or want to enjoy a few beers with the boys ' the MBFW weekend has got you sorted.

The region's local produce is the true star of the show. It is celebrated and showcased all weekend long in the Festival Precinct; everywhere you look you'll find some of the region's local produce and proud producers on display.

Due to COVID-19, the festival site will be operating at a lower capacity to keep COVID safe procedures. Tickets must be purchased online to secure a space.
