Feel free to make a song and dance about it because Multitude Community Choir is set to return with their latest concert, Raising Our Voice. The event will feature songs from some of the most memorable musicals of the ages, such as a selection from Jersey Boys, Motown the Musical, ABBA, Les Misérables, and Sister Act.
Choir secretary Adele Moy said that the choir had been performing in the Moreton Bay area for over 15 years and they were glad to be resuming, especially after COVID-19 lockdowns. The aim of the choir is to reach out and embrace the local community, and they're really looking forward to once again presenting their musical style to people of all ages, she said.
This year's concert will be held at Redcliffe Uniting Church and the plan is to showcase some great music at a very reasonable cost.
The choir will be doing what they do best, entertaining the local community with a bright and happy afternoon of songs, Adele said.
Tickets are priced at $15, with $10 concession, and children under 12 are free. Due to COVID safety, the event allows online bookings only, and seating is limited.
