There's A New Night Market In Town

Saturday nights in North Lakes are set to impress with the grand opening of the North Lakes by Night Markets this month. Take a stroll through the Northside's newest market and nab yourself a bargain from the local marketeers.

This weekly market will be set in the Westfield North Lakes car park ' a prime location chosen for accessibility for vendors and visitors.� The vast space allows patrons to meet up with friends and family for a great feast, enjoy a few beverages, and ample entertainment.

North Lakes by Night team member Michelle Reynolds said they currently had 60 vendors for the market event.

The North Lakes by Night founder Monique Annetts observed the need for a place to highlight local food and retail vendors, local artists, as well as be a social place for friends and family to catch up,� Michelle said. There are many day-time markets around the area, so it was decided to establish a night market.

North Lakes by Night will showcase taste sensations from around the globe, including the likes of Schnitzel von Yumm, Samurai Kitchen, Kaosarn Thai and Mr America Food Truck ' just to mention a few.

We also have mouth-watering desserts on offer by House of Poffertjes, Donut Kitchen, World Famous Funnel Cakes and Sugar Storm gluten-free baked treats.�

Michelle said the market would have a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere and would have something for everyone to enjoy ' including a children's area.

North Lakes by Night will feature local talent - including bands and solo musicians, so customers can roam around the markets ' grab a bite to eat, chill and relax to the tunes.�

The markets are still accepting expressions of interest for entertainment, and you can register as a vendor from the Facebook page for opening night or future evenings.

Michelle said she is really excited to be involved in the new market creation and said the� Grand Opening night entertainment will be fantastic.

What's not to be excited about a new night market opening?� Michelle said. You will have a hard time selecting a bite to eat from all the amazing food vendors, but whatever the choice, it will be amazing. Come and check out the market, it will be a great experience for all the members of the family - even the furry ones.�
