Can You Solve This Whodunit?
Red herrings are a surprise ingredient in Mousetrap Theatre's interactive murder mystery play The Great British Bump Off. When a quaint English village is caught up in the fever of cooking competitions, it isn't long before temperatures rise and murder is on the menu. Can you work out who the villain is before the detective?

Put together a team to attend this fun-filled event where you exercise your skills of deduction and compete for various prizes. There is even a matinee on Valentine's Day for a special date with a difference.

Director Susan Harding-Smith said that after last year's restrictions, Mousetrap Theatre was looking forward to getting back to 'normal'.

I think people want to be entertained after the year that was 2020," Susan said. "Tables and chairs are arranged for an intimate setting, so rather than just watching, you are part of the action.

In the second act, someone is murdered, and the detective starts quizzing everybody. The suspects are lined up and the detective takes questions from the audience.

Come 'dressed to kill' as there are not only prizes for the team who correctly solve the case but also for best dressed, and best team name.

The plot follows the shenanigans when the sleepy village of Crabblebottom holds its annual cake baking competition. The fete organisers are delighted when celebrity chef Eduardo D'Angelo takes up residence in the village and agrees to judge the competition, but this year, rivalries turn deadly and the bake-off turns into a bump-off.

BYO drinks and snacks or even a picnic to this event. Cold non-alcoholic drinks and chocolates are available for purchase at the venue, so if you forget to pack anything, you won't go thirsty or hungry.

Don't come half baked ' immerse yourself in this intriguing romp that really takes the cake.
