It's time for a dose of musical inspiration courtesy of the Moreton Bay Symphony Orchestra and some inspiring guest soloists.
President of Moreton Bay Symphony Orchestra, Eve Brown said the musical event will include an afternoon of stunning concertos and symphonic works such as Sibelius, Dvorak and Hummel. The inspiration doesn't stop there, though.
Attendees can expect the joy and magic of live music ' something that has been sadly missing during COVID, and the chance to hear and see great local talent, Eve said.
Moreton Bay Symphony Orchestra is made up of three main ensembles: MBSO, the Youth Symphony and Junior Strings. The concert will include performances from each ensemble, and soloists Frances Brodie (oboe) and Rebekah Hall (violin) ' who will be social distancing on stage.
Eve believes a highlight of the event will be the two youth symphony pieces, Dance of the Tumblers and Danse Macabre.
If you're unsure about whether to come along, Eve said, Take a chance and come. You won't regret it.
