Mamma Mia!
Redcliffe Musical Theatre proudly presents Mamma Mia! and promises an uplifting experience full of fun, laughter and maybe a few tears. Twenty-two iconic ABBA hits are scattered throughout this glorious musical.

Madeleine Johns, president of Redcliffe Musical Theatre, said the show had great singing, great dancing and a feel-good happy story based on a situation we are all familiar with ' a wedding.

Mamma Mia! is one of the world's most loved musicals ' it's happy, vibrant, and who doesn't love ABBA, Madeleine said.

Audiences will experience sheer joy, high energy, and a nostalgic glimpse into the past through the ABBA sound-track.

The set will be a high point of the production ' we are building this ourselves."

Mamma Mia! is set on a small Greek island where Sophie dreams of a perfect wedding, including her father giving her away. Sophie's quest to discover the identity of her father brings three men from her mother Donna's past back to the island they last visited 20 years ago ' and mayhem ensues.

The Redcliffe Musical Theatre cast of Mamma Mia! has a stellar line-up:

Meg Kiddle brings her own magic to the role of Donna through her great vocals and delightful stage presence.

Sophie is played by Georgia Burnett, whose powerhouse vocals and effervescence bring the main character to life. Georgia has just returned from a year-long stint working for Disney in the US.

Charlie Harrison is the charismatic performer playing Sam, and Matt Leigh uses his rich vocals to delightfully portray Sky.

David O'Keeffe plays Harry and James Reid plays Bill ' both are RMT regulars that audiences love to see on stage.

Madeleine said volunteers were welcome to help behind the scenes on costumes, props, make-up or front-of-house. For further information, contact info@redcliffemusicaltheatre.com.
