Australia's Premier AC/DC Tribute: 100% AC/DC is coming to rock the Redcliffe Cultural Centre on Wednesday, 25 January 2017.
Along with the AC/DC Tribute Show,
the Redcliffe Cultural Centre will be running an Introduction to Theatre/Techť course, a two day intense programme running from the
24 to 25 January 2017.
This course will give anyone who is considering a theatre technician career a taste of the industry. Under the watchful eye of the venue's Senior Technicians, participants will spend the first day learning lighting and sound, then on the second day, get to put their talent to work by helping to produce the AC/DC Tribute show. The course is not certified, but will give a great introduction into the process of producing a live show, and the sound and lighting skills required.
Skills learned include; develop and apply creative arts industry knowledge, apply work, health and safety practices, organise and complete daily work activities, usher patrons, develop basic lighting and audio skills and knowledge, develop basic staging skills, assist with bump in and bump out of the show and assist with sound recordings.
The Redcliffe Cultural Centre
is hoping to provide anyone who has ever thought about a career in this industry a platform to try it out and get insights into whether this could be the path for them.
The course finishes with the Redcliffe Cultural Centre rockin' to 100% AC/DC. The AC/DC Tribute will play the high voltage classics of AC/DC the way they were intended. Strap in for a night of Rock 'N Roll Damnation as the boys get on the 'Highway to Hell' to give you an evening of 100% AC/DC! Tickets to the show are just $25.00 each.
